Boston Cream Li’L Donut Recipe

Here, I will explain an easy and quick recipe for Boston Cream Donuts. 

Ingredients Quantity:

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons of caster sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of instant yeast
  • ¼ tablespoon of salt
  • 1 egg
  • Lukewarm water as required
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Cooking oil
  • Fresh cream
  • Chocolate    

How to prepare it?

  • First of all, add all-purpose flour, caster sugar, instant yeast, and salt to a container, and mix all the ingredients gently. 
  • Next, put an egg in the mixture and mix it.
  • Now, add some lukewarm water gradually to the mixture and mix it properly, then knead it until it becomes a soft dough.
  • Add butter to the dough and mix it well; make a soft dough; and cover it for about 1 hour.
  • Now, release the gas by pushing it. Then cut the dough into a round patty and again cover it with a cloth for 10 minutes.
  • Fry the donut in preheated cooking oil on both sides for 5 to 8 minutes until it looks golden brown. 
  • Let it cool for 10 minutes, and poke a hole with a knife or cake stick into the middle of the donut.
  • Fill the donut hole with cream.
  • Melt some chocolate pieces in the microwave for 1 minute.
  • Apply a coat of melted chocolate to the top of the donut and add a chocolate drizzle to it. That’s it. Enjoy your homemade donut with coffee or tea.
